It's not just the Patriots dealing with injuries ahead of Sunday's big game.
On Friday, Tampa head coach Bruce Arians told reporters that cornerback Jamel Dean and running back Gio Bernard will not play, and then Rob Gronkowski and Jason Pierre-Paul will be game-time decisions.
Gronkowski (ribs) missed the first two days of practice this week, but was on the field Friday. He was injured in Sunday's loss to the Rams.
As for Richard Sherman, who was signed this week, Arians said he will dress, but not necessarily play. The veteran cornerback certainly is not in game shape, but if an emergency arises he could play.
Both the Bucs and the Patriots are desperate for wins as both suffered losses last week.
