There is no room for interpretation when it comes to how Robert Kraft feels about Tom Brady.
So, when the Patriots' owner offered his first public reaction to news that Brady's return to Foxboro was set for Week 4 it should have been no surprise how complimentary Kraft was.
“Excited to have him,” Kraft said about Patriots-Buccaneers when approached by TMZ. “He’s a great guy and he did so much for us. I love him.
“We should have a fun night! But, I’m excited for Week 1 ? and we play Miami.”
Just for good measure, Kraft -- who was caught up to in Beverly Hills, Calif. -- was also asked who he thought would be starting when Week 1 rolled around.
"We're excited to have [Mac Jones] but I'm excited to have Cam Newton, too," Kraft said ... adding, "I pay Bill Belichick a lot of money. He can decide that."
