The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced the 26 Modern-Era Player Semifinalists for the Class of 2022 and the list does not include Rodney Harrison.
Just this week Scott Pioli made a strong case for Harrison and earlier on Wednesday Mike Vrabel said on a conference call the former Patriots safety deserves to get in.
“Well I have no idea if he’ll get in. He should get in,” Vrabel said.
He added: “Great teammate, great player. I learned a lot from Rodney. I’m not sure how how the voting goes, but one of the best players I played with. Helped me in my career, midway through my career. I’ll always cherish the time I got to play with Rodney and a lot of other great players.”
Richard Seymour and Vince Wilfork (first year on the ballot) are among the former Patriots players who did make the next round.
