The Patriots roster is back up to 53 players.
After placing offensive tackle Calvin Anderson on injured reserve with an illness on Friday, New England is signing defensive tackle Jeremiah Pharms Jr. to their active roster, per a source.
Pharms Jr. spent the entire 2022 season on the Patriots practice squad, and, after signing a futures contract, was released following final roster cuts and returned to the practice squad after clearing waivers. The defensive tackle was elevated three times so far this season, recording one tackle. He has now signed a two-year deal with the club.
New England faces off against the Washington Commanders at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
