Former New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs was found 'not guilty' on all charges brought against him by a private chef he employed last year.

Diggs' trial lasted just two days in Norfolk County District Court in Dedham, and the jury return their verdict after just 90 minutes of deliberation, according to reporting from Boston 25. At one point, the jury did return to the court room for a brief clarification on a question from Judge Jeanmarie Carroll.

Mila Adams, who lived in Diggs' house and worked as a personal chef, accused him of strangling and hitting her, resulting in two charges: felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault and battery. He was formally charged December 29, 2025. His initial court dates were deferred following the Patriots' Super Bowl appearance. Diggs' attorneys vehemently denied the allegations throughout the legal process.

Adams took the stand Monday; Diggs did not testify.

Diggs, 32, remains a free agent after the Patriots released him earlier this spring. He tallied 1,013 yards on 85 catches and four touchdowns during the regular season after returning to action less than year following an ACL tear he suffered in 2024. His initial contract in New England was three years, $69 million, but provided an easy out for the brass in Foxborough after one season. Diggs received NFL All-Pro honors twice while playing with the Buffalo Bills, in 2020 and 2022. He led the league in receiving yards and receptions in 2020.
