The bad news, good news, uncertain news path continues for the Patriots.
After it was revealed earlier Wednesday that cornerback Stephon Gilmore was the latest Patriot to contract COVID-19, getting the diagnosis four days after Cam Newton’s positive test, the 2019 Defensive Player of the Year took to Twitter to pass on the news that he was (like Newton) asymptomatic.
The fact that both Gilmore and Newton are asymptomatic do have relevance when trying to figure out how quickly they can return to action.
