Terry Bradshaw made a needless remark during the FOX pregame show Sunday, and it didn’t sit well with many of the people who heard it.

The longtime analyst chimed in during a discussion about the Arizona Cardinals offense. Former Saints head coach Sean Payton said he wants to see Murray run the ball more, and Bradshaw, clearly, didn't think they'd heed that advice.

“They’re not gonna run, they’re not gonna do it, they just can’t do it," Bradshaw said. "Their mentality is throw, throw, throw, throw. I think if this kid ran five or six runs in a row, I think he’d commit suicide or something.”

Bradshaw was being facetious, but it was a jarring and inappropriate comment to make, one that even caught his cohosts – specifically Howie Long and Michael Strahan – off guard.

Those who heard the comment at home weren’t amused, either.

It’s unclear how or if the network will address the matter, but those types of comments will never be received well.
