Last week, Tom Brady said he wouldn’t be caught dead living in the Northeast referring to the warm weather in Florida.

This week, speaking to Tampa Bay reporters, Brady was asked about Christmas traditions in his household and he brought up the weather again, noting texts he received of the recent snowfall in New England and responded, ‘Don’t really miss that.’

“I am excited for a new tradition of being down here and beautiful weather,” Brady said. “It doesn’t quite feel like it’s Christmas time just because the seasons, they don’t change much. Normally up the in the Northeast where I’ve been — I’ve got a lot of friends that sent me pictures [Thursday] of 12, 16 inches of snow up in the Northeast. I just wrote back, ‘Don’t really miss that. Don’t really miss shoveling out of snow.’

“It’s a little different. My kids are really looking forward to it and my kids are getting a little bit older. They are anxious to see if Santa Clause is going to come this year. I told them if they are good maybe we’ll see. It’s been a good year thus far.”

Brady and wife Gisele Bundchen seem to be enjoying living in Florida as they reportedly have bought a home on Indian Creek Island in Miami for $17 million.
