Tom Brady isn’t a member of the media yet.

In a new hype video, Brady rips his critics, albeit with a sly smile on his face. “I just look at the TV and I go like, ‘[Expletive] you guys, [expletive] you, TV,’” he says.

Brady is responding to criticism that was aired following the Buccaneers’ loss to the Saints in Week 15. The video features clipped commentary from multiple high-profile personalities, including Bill Simmons and Skip Bayless.

Brady airing his grievances against the media is a fixture in both of his docuseries, “Tom vs. Time” and “Man in the Arena.” In fact, he dedicated an entire episode of “Man in the Arena” to striking back at the press.

“It was just drama. It was just soap opera stuff,” Brady said about his final years with the Patriots. “Even though we were being very successful, even though I was playing great, it didn’t matter. I was still dealing with the constant negativity. The media were gonna cause division, make people take sides. I think the noise was just getting louder. Even though you block it out, they want to make it louder to make sure you hear it.”

Fox’ $375 million deal with Brady creates numerous conflicts of interests, namely how Fox Sports will report on him this season. For someone who preaches the practice of mindfulness, Brady sure seems to allow the exterior noise to bother him.

“You block out the noise, because none of it matters,” Brady says in the Bucs’ video. “What we do is, get back to what we did all year. Still not perfect, but football is not a game of perfect. We always expect to be at our best. You ignore what they think, and just move on, man. Fight for another day.”
