In Super Bowl LV, Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu found out the hard way you don't want to upset Tom Brady.
The two exchanged words multiple times in the first half of the Buccaneers' 31-9 win and things really got heated after one of Tampa Bay's touchdowns when Mathieu waved his finger in front of the quarterback's face, which he was flagged for.
“I thought I played as hard as I can today,” Mathieu said after the game. “Listen, Tom Brady’s a great quarterback. I never really saw that side of Tom Brady, to be honest. But whatever. No comment. it’s over with. I’m done with it.”
Mathieu going at Brady earlier in the half seemed to fire the quarterback up even more, potentially even causing him to target him with some of his passes.
