EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Kyle Van Noy didn't play in Sunday's game against the Jets due to a throat injury, but he still involved himself part of the storyline.

Following Zach Wilson's fourth interception, Van Noy tweeted: Ghosts again ?!?

This was referring to the Patriots-Jets game a few years back when Jets quarterback Sam Darnold said on the sideline during the game he was seeing ghosts while he was mic'd up for ESPN.

So, naturally, Wilson was asked afterwards if he was seeing ghosts?

“No,” he said. “Most definitely not.”

It was a rough home debut for Wilson, as he finished the game 19-for-33 with 210 yards and four interceptions. He became the first player since at least 1991 to throw interceptions on each of his first two pass attempts in a game.

"You just make plays and teammates feed off it. That is what defense is all about," Patriots cornerback JC Jackson, who recorded two of the four interceptions, said. "Don't wait on nobody to make plays, just go out there and set the tone and hope teammates feed off that."

Adrian Phillips and Devin McCourty also added interceptions.

Despite the four-pick performance, Bill Belichick believes good things are ahead for the Jets' No. 2 overall pick.

"Wilson made some pretty impressive throws," he said. "That kid is going to be a good player. He is a good player."

Belichick and the Patriots won't have to wait long to see Wilson and the Jets again as they come to Gillette Stadium Oct. 24.
