It didn't take long for rookie receiver Tyquan Thornton to make an impression in his first NFL action.
First, the second-round pick burned starting Giants cornerback Aaron Robinson on a go-route down the sideline in the first quarter, but Brian Hoyer's late, underthrown pass was broken up.
But with the Patriots down at the 2-yard line, Thornton fought through a holding penalty from Robinson to catch his first touchdown pass in a Patriots uniform.
