WATCH: Drake Maye’s brothers roast him on Draft Night
The good vibes, big smiles, and optimistic outlooks seem to be returning to Gillette Stadium after the Patriots selected UNC QB Drake Maye with the third overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. And while his arrival has given many from ownership to the 300s level a reason to smile, his brothers gave everyone a reason to laugh on Draft Night.
Unbeknownst to the new Pats’ quarterback, Drake Maye’s brothers (he’s the youngest of four) roasted him in a special video the NFL surprised him with shortly after his name was called to the stage. The video was part of a special Draft Night content series where family sent special messages to players. Maye’s older brothers, Luke, Cole, and Beau, made sure to humble their youngest sibling hilariously… before sharing how proud they were of their little bro.
Don't worry, the Maye boys had some wholesome messages for their brother after all 🥹💙 @DrakeMaye2 | #NFLDraft https://t.co/FlkZbTSGzy pic.twitter.com/yhzfZZkZlL

Maye’s brothers, alongside his girlfriend Ann, whom the QB’s been dating since the seventh grade, joined him for his introduction to New England Friday afternoon.
Great to see he’s a family man, something that should sit well organizationally and with the fanbase. Maye and his brothers allegedly rented The Detroit Athletic Club so they could shoot hoops after he was drafted. And while there will never be a replacement for the legendary Gronk brothers and their antics during Rob Gronkowski’s time with the Patriots, the Maye boys are off to a pretty good start.
