Things got off to an inauspicious start for the Rams on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.

Early in the first quarter, cornerback Jalen Ramsey shoved teammate Taylor Rapp in the face while the defense was in a huddle.

Ramsey threw his open hand into Rapp’s face mask, shoving him backwards. Rasp tried to go back at Ramsey but the two had to be separated by their other teammates.

It appeared as if Rapp said something directed toward Ramsey before the “punch” was thrown.

Obviously, we likely won’t know much more details until after the game — and even then they may keep it to themselves about what transpired.

Ramsey does have a reputation for stirring the pot, although it typically happens with opposing players.

It was certainly odd to see him go at it with a teammate on the field during the middle of a game, especially for a team that entered Sunday in first place in the NFC and the current No. 3 seed in the conference.
