Now that the 2020 season is over, what is Cam Newton up to?

Appearing on The Greg Hill Show Monday morning for his last appearance of the season, Newton indicated he would be spending a lot of time with his family and kids.

“Immediately," he said when asked when he would be leaving the New England area. "I haven’t seen my kids in three months. I am the dad who takes my kids to daycare. I am the dad who is the screamer in the bleachers. I am the dad who looks forward to giving my kids baths at night, reading them bedtime stories, making them whack peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and forcing them to eat it because daddy can’t cook and waiting on Postmates to pull up. I am the dad who really takes serious a football session and I am tackling them as hard as I can, but also kissing their little boo-boos after they get scraped by a tackle by dad. I am a hands-on dad. And when you negate that from a man, it weakens him to say the least.

"So yes, I am leaving town on the first thing smoking to kiss my children, to really bite their cheeks, and squeeze them to death. But, not to death. I am just looking so forward to playing hide-and-go-seek when I see my kids, you just have no idea.”

Players had to stick around a few extra days due to COVID protocols and exit meetings, but it's likely Newton has now left the area.

Newton will be a free agent this March and his future is rather uncertain.
