FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots held their third OTA session of the spring Thursday, but the first that was open to the media.
There was a long list of players absent, which is somewhat expected considering they are voluntary and the players put out a statement through the NFLPA weeks ago that many would not be attending.
Here are all the players who were absent Thursday: kicker Nick Folk, linebacker Matthew Judon, safety Adrian Phillips, cornerback Stephon Gilmore, running back Brandon Bolden, running back Sony Michel, cornerback JC Jackson, running back James White, safety Devin McCourty, linebacker Brandon King, cornerback Myles Bryant, linebacker Harvey Langi, defensive end Chase Winovich, linebacker LaRoy Reynolds, defensive lineman Christian Barmore, linebacker Kyle Van Noy, running back Rhamondre Stevenson, linebacker Dont'a Hightower, linebacker Terez Hall, wide receiver Tre Nixon, offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn, offensive lineman Trent Brown, tight end Jonnu Smith, defensive lineman Lawrence Guy and defensive lineman Byron Cowart.
In addition, linebacker Anfernee Jennings, tight end Dalton Keene, running back Damien Harris, linebacker Cameron McGrone and safety Joshuah Bledsoe were present, but didn’t participate. Bledsoe's arm was in a sling.
It is also worth noting some players were seen in photos from sessions earlier this week, so it doesn't mean they have not been attending at all.
The next OTA is June 1 with the media next attending June 4.
