Football sunday with gresh and kadlick: Will the Patriots mail it in against Denver?

The Patriots and Broncos have released their inactives ahead of Sunday night's 8:15 p.m. kickoff in Denver. Here's who won't suit up:

Patriots inactives:

- S Jabrill Peppers
- WR JuJu Smith-Schuster
- RB Rhamondre Stevenson
- TE Hunter Henry
- ST Matthew Slater
- QB Nathan Rourke (emergency QB)
- DE Sam Roberts

The Patriots will be missing four starters (three on defense) on Sunday night with Jabrill Peppers (hamstring), JuJu Smith-Schuster (ankle), Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) and Hunter Henry (knee) all out. Matthew Slater, who's dealing with a hamstring injury, is also inactive. It's the first game the special teamer will miss since 2017.

Nathan Rourke, who the Patriots claimed off waivers this week, will serve as the team's emergency quarterback in Denver.

- QB Ben DiNucci
- C Alex Forsyth
- DE Elijah Garcia
- OLB Thomas Incoom
- SS J.L. Skinner
