With the regular season finally here, we officially have weekly injury reports and gameday inactives. The following players will officially be inactive and not play in Sunday's Patriots vs. Eagles Week 1 matchup:

Patriots inactives:

- WR DeVante Parker
- G Cole Strange
- G Michael Onwenu
- LB Anfernee Jennings
- DT Sam Roberts
- CB Shaun Wade

Parker has been nursing a knee injury and was limited in practice all week. His absence will thrust rookies Demario Douglas and Kayshon Boutte into the spotlight.

Along the offensive line, guards Cole Strange and Mike Onwenu are both out. New England will have to rely either on rookies Atonio Mafi and Jake Andrews or recently acquired Vederian Lowe and Tyrone Wheatley Jr. to fill the void.

Eagles inactives:

- QB Tanner McKee
- RB Rashaad Penny
- CB Mario Goodrich
- CB Eli Ricks
- OL Tyler Steen
- DT Moro Ojomo
- TE Albert Okwuegbunam

For Philly, running back Rashaad Penny's healthy scratch comes as a bit of a surprise. The 27-year-old was a first round pick in 2018 and just signed with the Eagles this offseason. They'll enter Sunday with a backfield of Kenneth Gainwell, Boston Scott, and D'Andre Swift.
