The only sports gambling podcast at a major market radio station on which one of the hosts picks his games based on bits instead of on analysis. To be fair, if you removed my W-L, the pod is actually 29-24-1 on the season. So maybe pay attention to two-thirds of the picks and laugh at the rest.
Here's how we (38-42-1 on the year) did this week (2-7):
· Mut (2-1 on the week) continues to carry the Club almost solely by doubling up on Seahawks spreads and totals, as he’ll do again this weekend. But the Bills showed up last weekend, unlike the greatest offense ever in Kansas City as the Chiefs allowed Teddy Covers and the Panthers to cover the spread, much to Mut’s delight. (15-11-1 on the year)
· Scheim (0-3 on the week) wins the award for most unflattering audio ever when he bluntly stated last week that the Bucs were going to “murder” the Saints. In fact, Scheim’s evisceration of not only Jake Luton but also his short-sighted overlooking of both the Ravens and Colts defenses cost him some nickels this past week. (14-13 on the year)
· I went 0-3 on the week. No, I didn’t copy and paste this entry from last week. Technically I left it up and just backspaced so I didn’t have to feel my heart bleed as I typed that out for the fourth (fifth?) time this season. Apparently the strategy of just picking the best teams in the league to win and cover is not always the most sound. (9-18 on the year)
