Patriots RB Ezekiel Elliott reportedly drawing interest ahead of NFL trade deadline

The NFL trade deadline is approaching at 4 p.m. EST on Tuesday and according to one NFL insider, a Patriot running back is drawing interest.

According to Bleacher Report's Jordan Schultz, running back-needy teams have reached out to the Patriots on the availablity of Ezekiel Elliott.

New England signed the former Cowboys first-round pick to a one-year deal in August with a base salary of $3 million that's worth up to $6 million with incentives.

In a backfield with Rhamondre Stevenson, Elliott has tallied 224 yards and two touchdowns on 60 carries for the Patriots offense this season while adding 59 yards on 13 catches through the air.
