Joc Pederson may have some competition for "coolest kid in the clubhouse" from Atlanta Braves catcher Travis d'Arnaud.
Sure, Pederson has been wearing pearls because he's "a bad b-tch." But after Game 1 of the World Series d'Arnaud complimented his bullpen by saying "they all have big n-ts."
After the Braves beat the Astros in Game 3 of the World Series Friday night, d'Arnaud mentioned two things that show his chill level is on high.
The Braves catcher shared in his postgame press conference that he hadn't been using his bat, which is interesting considering he went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double on Friday. The double was just shy of being a home run. d'Arnaud was dialed in at the plate.
"I'm going to keep using it, that's for sure," d'Arnaud said after he admitted to using Pederson's bat. "I picked it up, and I said, "Joc, this feels pretty good." He said, "It's yours, big guy." I said, "All right, I'm going to use it." Yeah, I'm going to keep using it."
d'Arnaud is slashing .417/.417/1.000 and is 5-for-12 with two home runs in three World Series games with Pederson's bat.
In addition to hitting like crazy with Pederson's bat, d'Arnaud also said he'd been in a great frame of mind all day.
"I woke up and got doughnuts with my family," d'Arnaud said. "So I was feeling pretty good from when I woke up."

The haul of sweets was fairly impressive.
"We got 15 doughnuts," the Atlanta catcher continued. "We got a bunch of chocolate bars, chocolate twists, cinnamon twists, cinnamon rolls, apple fritter, a lot of doughnut holes. Yeah, it was good too. It was good."
Pederson is crazy cool and half the city of Atlanta is wearing pearls. And now d'Arnaud is hitting bombs, eating doughnuts, and seemingly relaxed as can be. Momentum has shifted back to the Braves, who have a 2-1 series lead and will face off with Houston in Game 4 on Saturday night in Truist Park.
