Earlier this month, the Red Sox sent Kevin Pillar to the Rockies in exchange for a player to be named later.
On Friday, the trade was completed as the Red Sox have received minor league right-handed pitcher Jacob Wallace.
Wallace, who is a Methuen, MA, native, was selected by Colorado in the third round of the 2019 June Draft out of the University of Connecticut.
The righty made his professional debut last season in the Rockies organization, making 22 relief appearances for Short-A Boise.
