Censors can't keep up with former Red Sox David Ross' hot mic tirade

During David Ross' playing days with the Red Sox, the word "affable" usually was surfaced when describing the former catcher's existence.

Don't tell that to umpire Erich Bacchus.

For the second time this season, and third time in his managerial career with the Cubs, Ross was thrown out of the game. This time the heave-ho came in the fourth inning of his team's game against the Cardinals Sunday afternoon.

Notable? Sure. But truly separated the moment was the television broadcast's inability to keep up with the salty language being thrown Bacchus' way by Ross.

Of some interest is the fact that Bacchus is just 30 years old and in just his second year as a major league umpire. Ultimately, the young ump would finish the game with one of the worst ball-and-strike ratings of the season.

Ross' Cubs are hanging in the National League Central race, sitting two games out of first-place.
