COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. - The streets and fields of the tiny New York town has been taken over by baseball fans of two nations - Red Sox Nation and the Dominican Republic.
In the hours ticking down to David Ortiz's official induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame Sunday afternoon, the former Red Sox slugger was celebrated thanks to a parade of Hall of Famers - including Ortiz - streets full of fans, and a party that reunited Red Sox teammates such as Mike Lowell, Dustin Pedroia, and Kevin Youkilis.
