Druw Jones shouldn’t have any problem tuning out the noise at the next level.
The No. 1 2022 draft prospect and son of former MLB star Andruw Jones silenced a crowd of vocal high school students with one swing of a bat in a recent game for for Wesleyan High School in Georgia.

Jones was hearing chants of “over-rated” when he connected with a chest-high fastball and launched it over the center field fence for a home run.
Another angle showed he even gave a little bat flip and shushed the crowd as he crossed home plate.
The 18-year-old outfielder is committed to play at Vanderbilt next year, but he is also projected to be the top draft pick in June. The Baltimore Orioles hold the No. 1 pick, followed by the Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers.
With that kind of scouting report, it may be tough for Jones to pass up signing with whichever team drafts. Surely, we will hear plenty more about Druw Jones between now and the draft.
