Sometimes the stars align. That's what happened in a weird way Monday at Fenway Park.
The fact that any fan could have gathered in a home run ball is a positive sign these days. And that's exactly what happened thanks to Alex Verdugo's blast into the right-field bleachers.
But in this case it was just some random fan. The man who ended up with the keepsake was probably the most deserving of anybody in attendance thanks to a very unique small sign.
"Verdu Go Red Sox"
Verdugo's homer was one of three for the Red Sox, who finished their Patriots' Day with an 11-4 rout of the White Sox. For more on the Red Sox' 11th win of the season, click here.
