Almost-Red Sox Brusdar Graterol gives us more reason to roll our eyes at Manny Machado

Manny Machado and the Red Sox has always been like oil and water.

First there was the slide that for all intent and purposes ended Dustin Pedroia's career.

Then he allowed for the signature image of the Red Sox' 2018 World Series win, swinging and missing at Chris Sale's final pitch.

Then came Wednesday night.

Even though the Red Sox have been tucked into their offseason beds for more than a week, enough players with ties to the organization are still playing in the postseason. And it just so happened at least three of them helped surface ire for Machado once again.

With the Dodgers holding a one-run lead with two outs in the seventh inning of their Game 2 Division Series against the Padres, centerfielder Cody Bellinger robbed Fernando Tatis Jr. of what would have been a go-ahead homer.

The pitcher who allowed the blast Brusdar Graterol -- who was originally supposed to be a Red Sox as part of the Mookie Betts trade before the Sox got cold feet about the hurler's medicals -- set off into a celebration that included throwing his hat in the air.

Machado, who was fresh off an epic celebratory bat-flip, took issue Graterol's reaction.

Those taking issues with Machado? On the field one was Betts, who joined his Dodgers teammates in shouting back at the former LA infielder.

Another would be current Red Sox pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez, who pointed out the hypocrisy on Twitter.
