Nathan Eovaldi might have landed as one of the offseason's most coveted remaining free agents.

The 32-year-old - who currently sits as the highest-ranked remaining free agent on the MLB Trade Rumors Top 50 free agents list (at No. 23 overall) - is drawing significant interest from multiple teams.

According to multiple major league sources, teams known to be in pursuit of Eovaldi are the Angels, Padres, and at least one other club. It is believed that one of the additional interested parties is an American League East club.

The Red Sox do not appear to be front-runners for the services of the righty after offering Eovaldi the $19.65 million qualifying offer (which he declined).

Eovaldi is coming off a 2022 season in which he made 20 starts, totaling a 3.87 ERA. He missed much of the final two months due to a back issue, returning to make two starts in the final week of the regular season.
