The Red Sox will begin the 2024 season on March 28, but the Fenway Faithful won't get to see them until April 9.

Major League Baseball announced the full 2024 schedule on Thursday, and Boston will be opening with a 10-game West Coast road trip. After starting with four games in Seattle against the Mariners, the Red Sox will then face the Athletics for three in Oakland (in what is expected to be the team's final season in Oakland before moving to Las Vegas) and the Angels for three in Anaheim.

Boston's home opener will come on Tuesday, April 9 against the Baltimore Orioles. That kicks off a 10-game homestand that also includes series against the Angels and Cleveland Guardians, including a Marathon Monday game against Cleveland.

For the second straight year, the first Red Sox-Yankees series of the season will have to wait. After not playing until June 9 this year, the two rivals won't meet until a three-game series at Fenway Park beginning on June 14 in 2024.

Later that month, from June 28-30, the Red Sox will host Xander Bogaerts and the San Diego Padres for three at Fenway.

The Red Sox and Yankees will also play two series in July and a final four-game set from Sept. 12-15 in New York. Boston ends the regular season with a three-game home series against the Tampa Bay Rays Sept. 27-29.
