Vanity plates are a great way to show support for your favorite sports team, and occasionally tweak your rivals. This Mile High license plate, however, could be both one of the best tweaks and flexes at the same time.
Who would have thought, 20 years ago, that this would even be possible? Laughing at the Evil Empire, the despised and dominant Yankees. Then again, after 86 years of repression and mockery, holding a four World Series to one advantage this century, not to mention the upper-hand this season (Sox lead the season series 6-0 so far), leads the previously oppressed to act out in creative and often hilarious ways.
The rivalry may not be dead after all. But judging by this plate it’s not doing so well of late.
