The most notable development for the Red Sox over the weekend was undoubtedly Tanner Houck's continued stretch without giving up an earned run as a major leaguer.

But a solid second took place down at McCoy Stadium.

Red Sox 2020 first-round pick Nick Yorke -- and 18-year-old who just graduated from Archbishop Mitty (CA) High in June -- integrated himself among former and future major leaguers.

There was the opposite field single against top pitching prospect Bryan Mata in Yorke's first at-bat in a professional baseball uniform. Then the next day came against a gap-shot double vs. Matt Hall, a pitcher who has 25 major league appearances (including a start for the Red Sox this season).

Yorke is the youngest player in the Red Sox' alternate site in Pawtucket, two years younger than Triston Casas.
