The Red Sox are being forced to dip into their starting pitching depth once again.
Alex Cora announced prior to Friday night's game against the Twins at Fenway Park that Walker Buehler was headed to the injured list due to right shoulder inflammation.
The Red Sox manager relayed that both he and the training staff weren't overly concerned, and was hopeful Buehler would be just missing a couple of starts.
Brayan Bello was moved up in the rotation to start Friday, with Hunter Dobbins slated to the nod Saturday.
Buehler had been one of the most consistent Red Sox starters after his first two starts, totaling a 2.59 ERA in his last four appearances (with the Sox winning each game).
