You might have noticed something different about the Red Sox' coaching staff Wednesday night.
We actually got a chance to see what they look like.
For the first time this season, the identity of manager Alex Cora, third base coach Carlos Febles, pitching coach Dave Bush and hitting coach Tim Hyers were revealed to anyone peering into the Sox' dugout in Atlanta. No masks, anymore.
According to a team source, the reason for the change in protocol was due to Major League Baseball's relaxation on restrictions for those who have been vaccinated.
Not all members of the Red Sox staff were mask-free, with first base coach Tom Goodwin seen still wearing a protective face covering.
The Red Sox (combined with Triple-A Worcester) have still not reached the threshold of 85 percent vaccinations, continuing certain restrictions.
