The Red Sox' plane out to the All-Star festivities doesn't figure to be all that crowded this time around.
After Rafael Devers was voted in as an American League All-Star starter, it was announced Sunday that there will only be one of his teammates joining him in Los Angeles. Xander Bogaerts has been named to his fourth All-Star team, serving as a backup to starter Tim Anderson at shortstop.
Bogaerts entered Sunday night's game with the Yankees hitting .309 with an .834 OPS and seven homers.
