It was maybe the most memorable putdown by an NFL spouse ever. After the Giants defeated the Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI, Gisele Bundchen was caught on camera bemoaning the performances of Tom Brady's receivers in colorful terms.
"My husband cannot f— throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time!," she said.
Eleven years later, Brady just suffered another devastating postseason loss, though this one was far worse. The Cowboys beat the Buccaneers 31-14 Monday night in a game that wasn't even as close as the lopsided final score would indicate. Brady was atrocious, with a brutal red-zone pick and dirty slide tackle attempt symboling his awful night.
But that didn't stop Brady's new admirer from mimicking Gisele. Model Veronika Rajek posted a message on Instagram Monday night that put the blame for Brady's loss on his Buccaneers teammates.
"I'm just sorry. But one guy cannot play for everybody on the field," she wrote.
Rajek, a Slovakian model who boasts 3.5 million followers on Instagram, garnered attention last week when she professed her love for Brady.
"I saw the LEGEND and if someone asks me again if I love Brady, yes I love him, and show me somebody who doesn't," she posted along with pictures of herself wearing Brady's No. 12 jersey.
Prior to Monday's game, Rajek posted a Vince Lombardi quote, complete with a racy photograph — and Tampa Bay teddy bear.
Sadly, her motivation didn't work. Brady responded with the worst playoff performance of his illustrious career.
