Happy Thursday y'all! The boys open up with the Yankees taking care of business at the Stadium, sweeping Boston in a two-game set, thanks to Brett Gardner's grand slam in the 7th inning.
"You talk about a timely hit, Brett Gardner had his moment in the sun for the Yankees with that grand slam yesterday," Esiason said. "Both he and J.A. Happ -- and I guess I would also include (James) Paxton in that, in that and (Mike) Tauchman in that. (They) came through in a big way in two huge games at home that the Yankees had to win. They had to win both of them."
