The New York Islanders have come to an agreement with forward Anders Lee to keep the captain with the team.
The two sides have agreed to a seven-year deal worth $49 million, according to multiple reports.
The 28-year-old finished with 28 goals and 23 assists this past season, making it the third consecutive campaign that Lee registered at least 50 points.
Lee posted a career-best plus-20 rating during the 2018-19 season.
It wasn't all good news for the Isles on Monday, as the team lost center Valtteri Filppula to the Detroit Red Wings.
Filppula signed a two-year, $6 million deal with Detroit, returning to the team that he played the first eight years of his career with.
The 35-year-old veteran is coming off a bounce-back season, recording 17 goals and 14 assists in 72 games.
Filppula finished with a plus-19 rating in his one year with the Islanders.
