Jets defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers will re-join the team this week after being medically cleared to return, according to WFAN's Brian Costello.
Rodgers has been dealing with serious health issues. He initially stepped away from the team before the Jets' Week 5 game against the Broncos.

"He's been cleared and he should be ready to go," said Todd Bowles, who has been close friends with Rodgers for many years. "We'll ease him in slowly. It depends on how he feels, but he's doing a lot better."
Bowles said "it's too early in the week" to determine how the defensive play-calling will be handled against the Vikings this weekend, but Rodgers will indeed have a coaching role this time. Bowles was calling the plays in his absense.
