Zing! Julian Edelman Calls Scoreboard In Exchange With Jets Heckler

A heckler who roots for the Jets met his match Monday night in Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman.

Edelman was leaving a post-Met Gala party at the Standard Line Hotel in Manhattan with Giant Saquon Barkley and ex-Giant Odell Beckham Jr. when a man yelled to Beckham: "Odell, the Giants are inept! Oh, Saquon, sorry, buddy! Jet fan!" a TMZ Sports video shows.

Edelman then quipped: "I'm a Jets fan, too. Every time I play them, we win."

The Jets fan had no retort.

Edelman was exagerrating about his record against the Jets, but not by much. The Patriots have gone 12-3 against Gang Green when he's been on the field, including six straight.

Seconds after that exchange, a cameraman asked Barkley how much he was going to miss playing with Beckham, who was traded to the Cleveland Browns in March. 

"That's my dog," Barkley said.

Beckham didn't say anything in the short video.
