The Mets, like many MLB teams across the league, are experimenting with some creative ways to fill Citi Field this year – one of them being offering season-ticket holders a free cardboard cutout of their faces (or whatever picture they choose, within reason) to be placed in the seats.
A unique idea for sure, and since SNY is only broadcasting limited chunks of Mets workouts and intra-squad games and workouts on social media and their programming, you may not have seen what this phenomenon looks like.
Now you can, thanks to one Instagram user whose cutout was front-row yesterday, marking “the first time I’ve ever sat front row.”
