The Mets have traded pitcher Wilmer Font to the Toronto Blue Jays for cash considerations, the team announced on Twitter Wednesday afternoon.

Font was 1-2 with a 4.94 ERA and 1.355 WHIP in 31.0 innings with the Mets this season.
The 29-year-old was designated for assignment on July 12.

In limited Gulf Coast League action this summer, Catalina is 2-0 with a 2.35 ERA and 1.57 WHIP in 7.2 innings spanning four games.
