According to SNY's Andy Martino, the Mets are undecided on whether to sign Zack Wheeler to a long-term extension.
The 28-year-old is entering his final year of arbitration and will earn $5,975,000 in 2019 before becoming a free agent.

Wheeler went 12-7 with a 3.31 ERA in 2018.
The 6-foot-4 righthander was hot down the stretch, finishing the year with a 2.30 ERA in his final 17 starts of 2018.
He missed consecutive seasons in 2015 and 2016 after undergoing Tommy John surgery.
The Mets have begun talks with 2018 Cy Young Award winner Jacob deGrom, who could become a free agent after the 2020.
Wheeler's future is yet to be clarified and his agent, B.B. Abbott, declined comment to SNY on Tuesday.
