Gleyber Torres is just 22-years-old, but he's quickly becoming one of the most important players on the Yankees.

Torres went yard in the second inning of Game 3 of the ALDS to give New York the lead early as they completed the sweep in Minnesota to advance to the ALCS. It's a moment Torres won't soon forget, as it was his first ever postseason home run.

Jake Odorizzi gave up the dinger that just barely got over the fence. It was briefly reviewed for fan interference, but the umpires rightfully ruled that the fan involved hadn't reached over into playing territory.

Torres has been one of the Yankees most clutch players this season, and he has continued that in the postseason. The Venezuelan had a couple big hits in both Game 1 and Game 2 of the series. He later made a nice play with his glove to thwart a threatening fifth inning from the Twins, and he also managed to hit two doubles and score two more runs.

The solo home run was followed up by an RBI from Brett Gardner in the next inning. Aaron Boone's team then added some runs late on to ensure they'd be moving on to the ALCS.

Torres appears to be peaking at the perfect time for the Yankees.
