Florham Park, N.J. (WFAN) --The New York Jets' season has been a struggle on a few different fronts.
The team is 3-8 and doesn't have any real chance of making the playoffs. Without much to play for other than player development, the Jets seem to be opting to play it safe with some of their injured players.
Safety Marcus Maye has dealt with a few injuries this year and hasn't played since the loss to Buffalo on November 11. According to ESPN's Field Yates, the team has now shut him down for the rest of the season by placing him on injured reserve.
