FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (WFAN) -- The Jets agreed to terms Thursday night with Terrelle Pryor, a wide receiver looking to prove his breakout season two years ago wasn't a fluke.

A source confirmed the deal to WFAN's Brian Costello. Terms of the contract were not immediately available. Pryor visited the Jets this week, as well as the Seattle Seahawks.

Source confirms the Jets and WR Terrelle Pryor have agreed to a deal, as @calvinwatkins reported. Jets wanted to add competition in the WR corps. They just did. Will be interesting if he can regain 2016 form if healthy again #NYJ

A converted quarterback, Pryor caught 77 passes for 1,007 yards and four touchdowns with the Cleveland Browns in 2016. But after signing a one-year, $8 million deal with the Washington Redskins last year, Pryor, hampered by injuries, had just 20 receptions for 240 yards with a touchdown.

The Jets have a talented receiving corps that also includes Quincy Enunwa, Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse, but it also has some major question marks. Anderson faces a suspension after being arrested each of the past two offseasons, and Enunwa is returning after missing all of last season with a neck injury. The Jets, meanwhile, lack a true No. 1 threat, a role that Pryor, 28, could potentially fill, although that's certainly not a sure thing.

A star quarterback at Ohio State, Pryor was a signal-caller for the first three years of his NFL career with the Oakland Raiders. He played in 15 games under center, starting 10, and passed for 1,953 yards, nine touchdowns and 12 interceptions while completing 56.3 percent of his throws.
