Brandon Nimmo's not such a bad cook after all.
Two days after the Mets announced Nimmo was ill because he ate undercooked chicken that he prepared for himself, his wife took to Twitter to say medical tests revealed the outfielder actually had a virus.
"@You_Found_Nimmo's final test results are in - it was a VIRUS!" Chelsea Nimmo wrote. "Cancel all the cooking lessons, he's good!"

He said the chicken appeared to be cooked all the way through but joked he might need to invest in a meat thermometer.
"We have to teach him how to cook so he doesn't miss any more games," manager Mickey Callaway joked Wednesday.
But it turns out Nimmo can stop blaming his culinary skills.
