Former Knicks point guard Mike Bibby is facing allegations of sexual abuse and harassment at the Arizona high school where he coaches.

The Paradise Valley Unified School District has confirmed that Phoenix police are investigating the claims made by a teacher at Shadow Mountain High School against Bibby, 40, the Arizona Republic reported Monday night

According to that report, the teacher claims that in February 2017 Bibby grabbed her by the waist, pulled her into his vehicle on school grounds and sexually assaulted her. The woman, who did not report the alleged incident to the school until Feb. 13, was granted a restraining order against Bibby, the head basketball coach, last week, the newspaper reported.

Bibby's lawyer, Donald Harris, denied the allegations.

"I can say with pretty much certainty this alleged incident didn't happen and that will be shown down the road," he told the Arizona Republic. "Michael Bibby did not participate in a sexual assault of any way, shape or form that was alleged by this lady two years ago."

After starring at the University of Arizona, where he won a national championship, Bibby, the second overall pick in the 1998 draft, spent 14 years in the NBA with the Vancouver Grizzlies, Sacramento Kings, Atlanta Hawks, Washington Wizards, Miami Heat and Knicks, for whom he played 39 games in his final season of 2011-12.

Shadow Mountain is Bibby's alma mater. During Bibby's six years as the basketball team's head coach, the Matadors have won five state championships.

Bibby's father, Henry Bibby, was a member of the Knicks' 1973 world championship team.
