Miles McBride was tasked with a larger role in Sunday’s Knicks win over the Cavaliers, as Jalen Brunson went down with a knee contusion in the first minute of play.

McBride was clearly up for the assignment, playing over 47 minutes and finishing with 16 points, five assists, and no turnovers, all while containing Cleveland’s Darius Garland on the defensive end.

But the highlight of McBride’s night was the in-and-out move he pulled on Evan Mobley, sending the Cavs veteran to the ground with a slick move before driving in the rest of the way and finishing the layup.

The ankle-breaking move quickly made its rounds on social media, as NBA fans marveled at the niftiness from McBride, who Knicks fans hope took his next step into becoming a legit No. 2 point guard behind Brunson.
