The Jets are a bit deeper at tight end, linebacker and cornerback after Day 3 of the NFL draft.

Gang Green traded down twice in the fourth round, first from No. 105 to No. 116 with New Orleans, picking up a fifth-rounder. Then they made a deal with the Titans, moving down five spots No. 121 in exchange for moving up 11 places in the fifth round.

Here’s a look at Gang Green’s newest players:

FOURTH ROUND

Trevon Wesco, TE, West Virginia (121st overall)

Westco is not fast at all (4.89 in the 40), but he is a big, solid blocker and has shown he has the balance to break tackles when he gets the ball in his hands. After making just two catches before his senior year, Westco had 26 receptions for 366 yards and a touchdown in 10 games for the Mountaineers in 2018.

FIFTH ROUND

Blake Cashman, LB, Minnesota (157th overall)

Cashman packs size and speed and is known for his instincts and textbook tackling skills. The 6-1, 237-pound linebacker ran a 4.5 40-yard dash at the combine. Some scouts, however, have concerns about his upper-body strength, his short arms and his ability to escape blocks.

Cashman had 104 tackles, 15 tackles for losses and 2½ sacks at Minnesota last season.

SIXTH ROUND

Blessuan Austin, CB, Rutgers (196th overall)

In the sixth round, Austin is a low-risk, high-reward pick for the Jets. He is coming off consecutive season-ending knee injuries at Rutgers, which limited him to just five games over the past two seasons. If it weren’t for those health concerns, Austin would’ve likely gone higher in the draft.

At 6-1, the Queens native has good length, awareness and cover skills, scouting reports say. He’ll need to bulk up from his current 198 pounds and may need more time to recover from his latest injury, but Austin could develop into a quality press corner over time.
