Nick Bosa, widely considered the top pass rusher in this year's NFL draft, will reportedly meet with the Giants on Tuesday.
Most mock drafts have Bosa going in the top three, and ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. ranks Bosa as the top prospect overall this year. That means the Giants would likely have to trade up in order to land Bosa.
While many Giants fans are clamoring for the team to find quarterback Eli Manning's successor early in the draft, there's no denying that pass rush is a major concern for Big Blue. Last season, only two teams had fewer sacks than the Giants' 27. Adding to their woes, New York traded linebacker Olivier Vernon, who led the team with seven sacks in 2018, to the Cleveland Browns last month.
Bosa had 16 sacks at Ohio State during his 2017 sophomore season. Last season, he played in just three games before undergoing abdominal surgery and then elected to withdraw from school and focus on preparing for the draft.
The Jets, who pick third, are also in the market for a pass rusher, but there has been no word yet on whether they're bringing in Bosa for a visit.
